Administrative Coordinator, Center for Middle Eastern Studies (ORSAM)
Aytekın Kalay was born in Eskişehir in 1969.
He graduated from the Land Forces Communication School (1987) and started to work in the Turkish Land Forces Command.
He received his undergraduate degree in the Faculty of Economics at Anadolu University (1995). He received an associate degree from the Anadolu University Vocational School of Justice (Law) (2019).
After leaving his position in the Turkish Armed Forces, he assumed responsibility in the information processing and purchasing departments in the Istanbul Transportation Inc., a subsidiary of Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality, served as the IT consultant as well as the head and a member of the Tender and Purchasing Commission in the Open Education Faculty at Istanbul University
He also worked as an assessment officer and purchasing specialist in the Department of Information Processing within the research staff at Ankara Yıldırım Beyazıt University IT Department.
In addition to his position as Orsam Administrative Coordinator, he continues his duties in the management and audit boards of many non-governmental organizations.
