JORDAN CIVIL SOCIETY TRAINING PROGRAM

  • Center for Middle Eastern Strategic Studies (ORSAM) organized a Jordan Civil Society Training program on 4-11 December 2016 with the support of the Presidency for Turks Abroad and Related Communities. As the first step of the project, 15 Jordanian NGO representatives were accommodated in Ankara, attended the lectures of the academicians on NGO administration and personal development and visited the relevant institutions. Experienced academicians and bureaucrats shared their experience in the training program, through the lectures on Development in Civil Society, Entrepreneurship, Use of Social Media, Political Communication, Personal Development and Leadership. Furthermore, the relevant institutions and organizations and nongovernmental organizations  such as the Prime Ministry, TIKA (Turkish Cooperation and Coordination Agency), SAM (Center for Strategic Studies), Yunus Emre Institute, Turkish Red Crescent, YTB (Presidency for Turks Abroad and Related Communities) and experiences were shared within this context. Young Jordanian participants were invited to a dinner on 9 December 2016 and certificates were awarded in the presence of YTB Deputy President Serdar Gündoğan, ORSAM President Şaban Kardaş and representatives of both institutions.
