Journal of Middle Eastern Studies is a peer-reviewed international relations and regional studies journal, published by the Center for Middle Eastern Studies (ORSAM). The journal is published twice a year. The primary goal of the journal is to encourage the Middle East studies in Turkey in social sciences and to make qualified contribution to the international literature on the Middle East. Analyses published in the journal do not represent ORSAM’s institutional position. Journal of Middle Eastern Studies is indexed by Applied Social Sciences Index and Abstracts (ASSIA), EBSCO Host, Index Islamicus, International Bibliography of the Social Sciences (IBBS) and Worldwide Political Science Abstracts (WPSA).
